Critics did not think or imagine that "Friends" would become the big hit that it became back in 1994, but the pilot episode received many viwers around the world. In a very short amount of time first season raved, and the fans and viewers wanted more leading the creators to make another season after another. The "Friends" train became very hot and more and more celebrities decided to hope aboard. Many guest stars have appeared and have paid their respects to the show making it even more renowned. Many celebrities have guest starred on the show such as, Gabrielle Union, Bradd Pitt, Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Tom Selleck, Paul Rudd, Charlie Sheen, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Christine Taylor, andCathline Turner just to name A LOT! These stars actually wanted to do these roles because of how much fun the show was, not even including the success of it all. Most of these stars walked away with Emmy awards for their guest appearances from a show whom no one thought would blow up! TV guide's favorite appearance seems to be Bradd Pitt when he guest starred as the geek gone sexy, Will. He was friends with Monica and Ross in high school and was ridiculed by Rachel and founded the "I HATE RACHEL CLUB", this episode was hilarious and appeared in season 8.The series sky rocketed, and jump started many famous carrers we admire today. From 1994 to 2004 as an actor, the "Friends" set was the place to be.

What's My line?????
I bet any amount of money that anyone who has a favorite show can immitate their favorite member of the cast, recite lines from the show, and does so while they are watching it, which may become annoying to other people around them. When "Friends is on, I cannot help but do the exact same thing, I feel like I could be in the show (IN MY DREAMS!). In reality we think that our favorite actors would know every episode in and out, but we forget that that is their job and they probably would not watch the show regularly having lives of their own. Shockingly to say this is very true and most of the actors cannot remember their lines from previous episodes drawing towards the end of the entire series. Well Ellen proves this theory on her show inviting the cast on, showing them clips of some of their famous lines, pauses the video, and sees if they can remember what they said next. Shocking, but very hilarious.

Phoebe Buffay
Phoebe Buffay is the very free spirited, loves nature, and optimistic one of the bunch. As a child her mother killed herself leaving her to fend for herself on the streets, I guess that's why she has an edgy and aggressive side to her as well. Phoebe believes in things such as spirits and fortune telling, seeming quite odd to other people. She spends most of her time singing and playing the guitar at the central perk while in the day she spends her time massaging clients as a masseuse. Her most famous song she sings is "Smelly Cat", a meaningless song dedicated to a very smelly cat that no one cares for. At the end of season 4 to the beginning of season 5 she generously bares triplets for her step-brother and his 50 year-old wife. Phoebe also hates her twin sister Ursala. Phoebe lives in her own world, and the "Friends" fans love it. Hands down the most unique character of the show!

Everybody Hates Janice
Janice Litman came into the "Friends" series in the first season as Chandler's annoying girlfriend. She can be described as the stereotypical New york woman in the 90's, skinny, hair sprayed to the stiff, excessive jewelry, and loud and obnoxious. Every time Chandler broke up with her he always seemed to get sucked back into her bizarre charm. You always knew Janice was on the scene when you heard her catch phrase, "Oh, My....God!" followed by her annoying laughter. The entire gang always persuaded Chandler to break up with her but Chandler always followed his heart to her until he falls in love with Monica of course; Thank God for Monica Geller! See her in action for yourself, and how she annoys the world!

Forbidden Love
Monica Geller and Chandler Bing seemed to be complete opposites up until the middle of the series. They went through the ups and downs of their own awkward relationships. Chandler with obnoxious Janice, and Monica with sophisticated and much older Richard. The two accidentally slept with each other on a trip to London and from there on fell in love. Secretly meeting every moment they could, they weren't ready to tell the rest of the gang about their love. In season 5, episode 14 phoebe sees them kissing and consults with Rachel about how to get them to confess. Rachel and Phoebe decide that Phoebe will try and seduce Chandler so he will quickly confess to to his love for Monica. When Phoebe invites herself over to Chandler's apartment very romantic and suspiciously, Monica and Chandler know that they know. Monica and Chandler consult and come up with the idea to play along...
